I’ve consistently witnessed women who’ve made their bodies the enemy and lost safety and confidence in themselves. Minimizing their own value or self-worth. The pain is real and I too have felt it. This is what led me to create a private practice specializing in breaking this cycle. Over my 13 years of experience as a clinician, I obtained certifications for body focused work and hired a team that adds to this specialty because how best to support healthy relationships with ourselves and our body than through learning how to listen to our body and provide it with what it needs.

  • Although counseling and therapy can be used interchangeably, a therapist is a term for a mental health specialist. There are multiple disciplines within the therapeutic realm including Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, and Psychologist. Our providers are a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose educational background focuses on relationships and attachments and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor whose educational background focuses on individual work and a developmental approach.

  • In San Diego, these fees can range anywhere from $125 to $250. At our practice, we tend to fall in the middle range with sessions ranging from $140 to $175 depending on the provider. Sessions with Diandra start at $165 and associates start at $140. We do have select spots available for a lower fee of $120. Feel free to contact us for more information.

  • Each insurance provider and member plan is unique for covering therapy in San Diego, CA. At our practice, we accept Cigna/Evernorth as well as provide a superbill to utilize for reimbursement from plans we are not in network with. We understand insurance can be very confusing. If you would like, our team will assist you in learning about what your personal insurance plan may cover.
